Recently we have been in a period of extraordinarily low volatility. We don’t know if this is the end of the period, or not, but we do know at some point this extremely low volatility period will end. When this happens historically “normal” volatility will probably seem much higher than “normal”.
There is no need to worry about the markets volatility if you know at what point you are going to sell your ETFs. To help with that we list the price where that should happen. Just look at the table below and remember, if you’re willing to take a middling loss (i.e. 15%) you don’t have to concern yourself with worrying about when to sell, or if you’re going to take a large loss. You already know your “worst case” scenario, and it’s not going to be debilitating. That knowledge is what allows you the ability to remain calm while others react with anxiety.
