While Foreign focused ETFs posted modest gains Mid and Small Cap ETFs led the domestic decline, falling 2%-3% last week. Domestic Large Cap ETFs were down 1.5% plus or minus a little. These are slight declines from near term highs and should not be interpreted in a negative manner.
Yes, as investors were concerned, President Trump not was able to get the repeal of the ACA through Congress, but the good news for the markets is, that failure allows the administration’s full attention to now focus on the new tax plan. Which should be an easier sell than the repeal of the ACA, and it should certainly have a more beneficial impact on the stock market than the repeal of the ACA.
