Of the 20 ETFs we follow, few are on a long-term downtrend. Only the Vanguard FTSE Europe (VGK), WisdomTree Europe Hedged Equity (HEDJ), and Japan Hedged Equity Fund (DXJ) aren’t quite yet at a high enough price for investment comfort. Even of those, VGK is close ($1 away) from a possible purchase price.

Of those that are on an uptrend, none are close to their decline limit prices. The closest is the Vanguard REIT (VNQ) at 13.6% of a decline from its current price to our strategy’s sell price. Most require weekly updates on their decline limit prices (weekly updates for decline limit prices mean ETFs are reaching new peaks — are on a consistent upward trend).

Most ETFs we analyze (only excepting VGK, HEDJ, and DXJ) would be — and will be — a welcome addition to any portfolio.
