Even with the concerns investors have exhibited recently all the ETFs we follow showed gains last week, most in the 1%-2% range. The markets continue to act much better than most investors expect, and since we follow stock price moves, and not investor expectations, we are still positively predisposed toward all but three of our ETFs. VGK, HEDJ, DXJ are the exceptions, but those are all getting closer to prices that would put them in the long term uptrend category.

Not much new to say. If you own the ETFs with the green arrows (i.e. in long term uptrends) continue to hold them and get a good nights sleep knowing you have limited your downside risk to 15%. In a few cases, the more volatile ETFs, the risk will be 20%, but still manageable. And that’s our goal. Limiting your investment risk so the declines you experience won’t prevent you from reentering the market when that opportunity presents itself browse around this website. Or, simply stated, our goal is Averting Aversion.
