The world economies seem to be coming under pressure but our U.S. ETFs don’t seem to be feeling that same pressure. Both Europe (EFA, VGK) and our Emerging Market ETFs (VWO, EEM) as well as our other Foreign ETFs (VEA, VEU) have Yellow Arrows and continue bouncing along a move toward a trend change. The trend change obviously hasn’t happened yet but we are as close as we’ve been in over two years. If the rest of the world isn’t performing particularly well is it possible for the U.S. to perform well on it’s own? That’s a question we need to think about. Our system is not advocating any current action but we do want to be cognizant of what’s going on in all of our markets.
