All of our ETFs posted a very good week with the majority rising 3% plus. Growth ETFs, after trailing last weeks market gains, led the way this week. VUG rose 5.1% and QQQ was up 4.5%. Despite these gains both ETFs are still in Downtrends and have lost approximately 15% since they moved to downtrends almost a year ago.
Three ETFs moved to Uptrends this week, IWD in the value category, IJR in the small cap category and VEU in the foreign category. We now have more ETFs in uptrends, 15, than downtrends, 11.
